Careers talk: Detica

Thursday 26th November, 5.00pm

Mountbatten, room 4025

When you’re developing technical innovations that will combat organised crime, protect state security and uncover global fraud, intelligence is everything. But we don’t just look for the brightest minds from engineering, physics and mathematics. We also look for those whose technical excellence is matched by well-developed people skills and strong commercial acumen. If you join us, you’ll quickly get close to our clients to really understand their issues and solution. While you shape a career that respects your individualism, learning the skills that you need, and want, to learn. We’ve been developing solutions to some of the world’s most complex and sensitive security problems for over thirty years – and we’re very, very good at it. With the training, support and freedom of our graduate scheme, you will be too. If you’ve got a strong academic background, and the right attitude, we’d like to hear from you. Plans for 2010

We're plannig a trip to Bletchley Park, home of the WWII code-breakers and an important landmark in the history of computing. Currently, we're considering Wednesdays in March 2010. We will shortly open a voting system to help decide which date to book for. Enthusiasm for this trip is high, so we want to make sure that as many people as possible will be able to come.
